What You’ll Be Doing:
- Team Leadership: Supervise and support a team of 2-6 plumbers on site to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Customer Relations: Communicate effectively with clients, including large facilities like hospitals and hotels, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
- Project Management: Handle quoting, material ordering, job pricing, and coordination, both locally and remotely, including interstate projects.
- Collaborating with Technicians: Work closely with our technicians to solve any challenges and ensure projects are completed to the highest standard.
- Variety of Tasks: No two days will be the same, as you’ll manage a variety of responsibilities to keep projects on track and customers happy.
To Succeed in This Role, You’ll Need:
- Experience: At least 5 years as a Project Manager/ Site Supervisor in the plumbing industry.
- Commercial Project Experience: Proven experience in managing large-scale commercial plumbing projects.
- Team Leadership: Strong ability to lead and inspire a team of plumbers to meet deadlines and deliver quality work.
- Excellent Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills to liaise with clients, technicians, and suppliers.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and make quick decisions in the field.
- Desirable but Not Essential: Expertise in hot water changeovers.
